1960s Conch Pendant by Danish Louis Weisdorf for Lyfa
The iconic 'Conch' pendant, was designed by Louis Weisdorf in 1964 for the Tivoli Garden in Copenhagen. Reputed to be Weisdorf's first design and limited in production numbers due to high manufacturing costs, these lights are difficult to source.
The geometric pendant features a construction that allows for the bulb to be hidden, consisting of twelve metal plates which form a conch-shape, allowing the lamp to emit a characteristic light, and lending a strong aesthetic when unlit too.
The lamp is in great condition but has some few light scratches, please ask for more pictures.
